Ruby’s 3 weeks training Boot Camp. June 2011

This is Ruby, a 1 year old German Shepherd. She is spending 3 weeks with me in my training program and is doing well. I love this video because she is a super nervous girl and these 5-8 young soccer players just came running up to her and started petting her. She did great!! Then a huge fire truck drove right by and she hung thru that too!! What a good girl!!

So, here is Blue, the St Bernard, walking down the aisle of his owners wedding with Isla, a 5 year old. I am walking just behind them. Let me give some history of Blue and an exact picture of his surrounding at this time. Blue is a 1 year old St who is gorgeous and STRONG and HUGE!! He did my Board and Train program and is in the video on this page. He has learned so much and it has stuck with him! His owners have really continued with the training and are sooooo happy with him. This ceremony was on a tiny, metal, dock on Lake Tahoe. With ever step, the metal would warp and pop. Scary for humans, REALLY scary for dogs!! I got there a bit early to make sure he could walk on it, he freaked out at first. Then I was asked to have Isla, the girl walk him!! I was hesitant because if he wanted to freak out and bolt, she would fly!! She was even wearing a life jacket! It worked out PERFECT!! He was WONDERFUL and it could not have gone better!! Here is what Blue’s owners said about that day:
~”Did you hear the awwww’s? I love that I got to see our boy walk down the aisle gently with a little girl. We can’t thank you enough and I’ve sent it to the daycare that he goes to. I hope you are able to upload it to your website and add this testimony from us…because we all (including our guests) thought this was just amazing to see our big Blue walking with our flower girl. He did great walking down the dock and walking nicely next to a little girl. Thank you so much for guiding him. It was wonderful to see our Blue with us on our wedding day.”
